In 1973, Buddy Miley, a seventeen-year-old star high school quarterback from a suburb of Philadelphia, played a fatal option that would leave him paralyzed from the neck down, and leave his devoted younger brother Jimmy with the guilt that it should have been him.
Now a quadriplegic, and in the care of his mother, Buddy struggles to redefine who he is from the neck up. Meanwhile, Jimmy is drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, and accepts an offer to play professional baseball, only to leave it all behind, because he could not leave his brother’s side.
"A remarkable true story of brotherly love, devotion, sacrifice,
and an impossible decision."
